This hour-long seminar offers a practical and manageable way to incorporate more herbs into your busy lifestyle. Along with a recipe share, we will discuss seasonal eating, sustainable meal-planning, and how to create relationships with wild and homegrown herbs.
During this seminar, you can expect to learn more about the healing and medicinal properties of each plant or fungi introduced. We welcome discussion surrounding other herbs as well, so feel free to come with questions and curiosities!
Things You'll Need:
*During the warmer months, seminars will be held outdoors.
**Seminars are currently available for private parties up to 15 people. Contact The Wilderness Guru directly for inquires.
The Wilderness Guru is VERY excited to be partnering up with Master Maine Guide Gregory Sarnacki to offer an all-encompassing Maine Foraging Skills workshop! In this full-day workshop, you will have the opportunity to make your own natural medicinal tinctures and sample foraged foods from the wilderness of Maine!
With two experienced guides by your side, you will gain the knowledge and foraging skills to find, identify, gather, and harvest edible foods and medicinal plants safely and sustainably.
If you're intrigued with the idea of foraging but intimidated with where to start, this hands-on workshop is designed for you! We hope you'll join us for this wildly connective experience and learn to deepen your relationship with the abundance nature has to offer.
*Must be able to comfortably walk 2-4miles on trails and through the woods!
