Health & wellness coaches support clients in activating internal strengths and external resources to make sustainable and healthy lifestyle behavior changes. Health coaches use a client-centered approach wherein clients decide their goals, engage in self-discovery or active learning processes, and self-monitor behaviors to increase accountability, all within the context of an interpersonal relationship with a health coach.

Connecting to the pulse of nature's rhythm has been used for healing rituals for centuries. In modern times, people often look to nature as an escape from our fast-paced, technology-centric worlds. But going into the wilderness of Maine isn't really an "escape", it's a connection. Humans crave relational connection - it's what feeds our soul as well as soothes our mind and heals our emotional well-being.
Whether it's yoga, forest therapy, guided meditation, hiking, wildcrafting, or foraging, there are limitless ways for us to exist in reciprocity with the forest. Look below for The Wilderness Guru's latest in-person wellness offerings in Baxter State Park and the Katahdin Region.
A Silent-Optional Forest Bathing Retreat That'll Bring Your Spirit Back to Balance
Begin each day with Yoga, and end with campfire grounding ceremonies.
Deepen your connection with the Earth through physical challenge & enjoy the views!
Slow down & take it all in - allow yourself to tune into the rhythms of Nature.
Cost includes all meals, campsite reservations, park entrance fees, and guided experiences. Scroll down for more details.
This retreat was inspired by Tori's silent meditation experience at Wat Pa Tam Wua Forest Monastery in Northern Thailand.
During her own annual "wilderness reset" solo backpacking trips, she quickly realized how mentally and emotionally transformative it can be to combine art of silence with Forest Therapy practices. Wilderness Reset is a refreshing blend of group activity, empowerment through skill, and personal reflection - and you get to choose what you engage with, as well as how.
As a group, we will be tent camping at Nesowadnehunk Field Campground in Baxter State Park, one of Maine's most pristine and untouched wilderness areas. During the retreat, you can maintain reflective silence, practice yoga daily, meditate freely, hike a mountain, journal, slide down natural waterslides, and more!
No previous camping experience is necessary for this trip, and we will advise you on the gear you need to be comfortable during your Wilderness Reset Retreat. So please, join us as we heal in Nature, together!
